Qingdao, Shandong Province - July, 2013
In July, 2013 my friend Hou Danjuan and I took a high speed train from Beijing to Qingdao. Neither of us had been there before.

The Qingdao Guest House (青岛迎宾馆 – Qingdao Yingbingguan), the former German Governor’s Mansion, resembles a classic German castle. Construction began in 1905 and was completed in 1908.
